Skills/Requirements
Creates and maintains all employee, medical, and workers
compensation files and maintains personnel processes in
compliance with all applicable laws and company standards; and
backs up the HR coordinator as needed.
Coordinates the hiring process; provides outside recruiter with
information on company facilities and job opportunities for
potential applicants; sets up interviews, drug testing and
physical tests for qualified applicants; and performs reference
and background checks on applicants; and handles the processing
of new hires.
Provides services to employees to answer their benefit
questions; resolves problems related to access to or payment of
benefits, orients newly eligible employees, and processes
enrollment forms, changes, loan requests; std paperwork.
Processes Leave of Absence and FMLA paperwork and monitor
appropriately.
Education and/or Experience:
MUST have a Bachelors degree or Associate's degree (A. A.) with
2 to 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in an HR
Department.
